Narrative Report Writer

 

Over the past year, I have trying to launch development of my subscription based product for Real Estate Appraisers and Brokers based on my Document Assembler product, but I have kept running into issues. The key show stopper right now is insufficient funding. Can be a real challenge dealing with VCs and their lawyers and development on accruals is not quite working out! 😏

Key Features:

1. Fill out forms for Appraisal Orders.

2. Generate various Narrative reports based on pre-rendered Templates which can be completely customised by individuals. 

3. Narrative Reports can be compiled based on regulatory standards set by individual states.

4. The Document Assembler assembles the Narrative reports in the background. Final output can either be in Microsoft Word or PDF formats.

5. Complete Billing system for Appraisal Orders. Send Bills and collect payments from within the system.

6. Maintain your own Comprehensive Real Estate Comparables Database with upto 4000 fields. This data can be shared with other suubscibers and used in various Reports.

7. Powerful Search Engine with Maps for the Database.

The core of the Product is the Document Assembler, which runs on a separate server, assembles the Reports, fills in the Data and formats the Report based on System settings and user selection. The Narrative Report Writer has applications for other domains as well. I have talked to a couple of Law Firms who have expressed interest in developing a solution tailored to their specific needs. After Real Estate Appraisers, we could develop a variant for Small to Medium size law firms built around the Narrative Report Writer.

My core Product Development team is based in Luzon, Philippines. We need $20000 in startup costs to get the Production v1 version out. Development of version 1.0 will take 18 weeks from start to finish.

The prototype was built in ASP.NET Framework 4.8. However we intend to move to Angular/MySQL on Linux based servers for production in order to keep running costs low. This will enable me to pass on savings in the form of lower subscription fees for end users.

 UPDATE: (Nov 8, 2024) - Work on Product on hold till funds are available.
